Ah, yeah. He seems so likeable honestly, I'm reading his form and I love him. Roque isn't the type to really betray secrets; he's grown out of a lot of his naivety and he's likely to just be exasperated and worried, especially since Bryce is definitely younger than him. He might be mildly amused by his nature if they make it out of the more harrowing situation.
If you have time, I'd appreciate if you could--I'm rather busy around the house today and to tell the truth I'm a bit nervous about just jumping into writing on this new forum cx

Glad you like him : D He's also so much fun to write, as he's practically my polar opposite in many things (fun fact; in the thread with Iah, I sank as low as looking up what kind of drinks people regularly order at clubs, and what a drink says about someone, because God, I wouldn't know). Yeah, I think the age difference and the fact that Roque is mature type of person while Bryce is just a big child will be fuel for plenty of fun dialogue.
No problem! Don't worry about posting here though, we're all a pretty relaxed bunch.

Oh boy. I kind of did the same thing because not only would I not know but I don't drink at all myself; but I only went so far as to look up popular cocktails and now all of my OCs just drink Screwdrivers if they drink cocktails at all, because I thought it sounded more appetizing cx The things people will research for writing--it can range from drinks to dead languages to how to treat wounds, to the benefits and risks of cannibalism. it's pretty wild.
Yeah! And Roque's mature but he's also likely to be a bit frightened in the situation so I'm definitely excited. Thank you! I'm having a lot of fun getting settled cx

Yeah, same here :') I can enjoy a glass of honeywine every once in a while when the stars align, but that's about it. And indeed, you have to look up the wackiest things sometimes. Though it's also very fun just how much a single roleplay can teach you in that regard. I mean, granted, most things I've learned this way are a bit morbid and very much not appropriate to share at parties, but they were fascinating all the same.
Poor lad, getting into all this trouble just for trying to help someone. And same! Glad to hear that ^^

Would anyone like to meet with Audrey? She's a poor mechanic who's fiery and independent and used to be involved in some smuggling, she usually is around the lower ring at night, so it could be a circumstantial meeting if anyone is interested?

I won't have time until next week due to my final project, but if that's okay with you, I have; - Johnny; tattoo artist, enormous idealist, potty mouth, but very friendly. It's hard to piss him off and he has the naive trait of seeing good things in people, including the ones that, to others, practically have 'untrustworthy' written on their forehead. - Troy; Like Audrey he mostly works with his hands. He has no particular trade but does almost anything that pays, as he is desperate for money to support both himself and his family, including a chronically ill sister. Troy is guarded and blunt, but definitely not a mean-spirited person. It does show that he's always had to work and didn't really have a proper childhood; he's serious and very, very to the point. - Mallory; musician and rebel. Mall has been in Ebony before and it's left its marks on her. She is assertive and has a big mouth, but overall she really isn't all that bad. She's with the resistance and keeps an eye out for other Evolved. - Neil; he's a dealer and the sort of guy you can never trust. He's a die-hard survivor who's hardened by his own mistakes. Respect is a big deal to him and when someone earns it, he can be almost loyal. Almost because when it comes down to it, Neil plays for Team Neil and Team Neil alone. He likes to push people a bit and can be provocative. He is in a real bind as he's in trouble with one of the big dogs in the drugring he's part of and at this point Neil is willing to do anything to survive.
Anyone there you'd like to do a thread with?

Ooo, I think Troy or Neil would make for some interesting threads, since Audrey worked in some illicit smuggling for a while maybe they could have similar contacts. I think she would sympathize with Troy, because she's also really centered around family and is scared of becoming useless, even if she wouldn't initially admit it they have that in common. With Neil I think she'd end up more playful and they could get into some fun misadventures. Whichever you would prefer to use, and it's totally okay, I understand finals.

Hey, sorry for the late response! We could perhaps do a thread for each if you'd like? I think Troy and Audrey have definitely potential when it comes to a friendship of sorts, and she and Neil could indeed stir up some trouble here and there.

I think it'd be cool if Neil and Audrey got themselves involved in a pretty sticky situation, that could end very badly, forcing them to co-operate on some level. As for Troy; perhaps he could land a job at the same place she works at?

I think Neil and Audrey would work well together under pressure, and maybe Troy and Audrey could bond in the workplace by accidentally discovering each others powers, especially with the consequences and societial expectations concerning them? But those both sound really good, I started a thread that we could use for Neil and Audrey to meet up if a random encounter that lead towards something more adventurous is what you wanted to work with for that? IT could concern the drug trade or some smuggling ring they both accidentally got overly involved in.

Yeah, I agree. Situations that bring out either the best or the worst in someone would work great for them. And omg I love the idea for Troy and Audrey that needs to happen. I'll reply to the thread with Neil and Audrey ASAP, btw. I like the idea of the drug business getting both of them involved in some shady shit
